Burwash Playing Field Association

(Registered Charity 305191)

Ham Lane, Burwash

The BPFA was set up to administer and manage Swan Meadow Playing Field in Ham Lane, Burwash. The site is registered as a charity and maintained as a playing field in perpetuity for the village.  It is one of the jewels in the crown of Burwash village. It is OUR green space. We should protect it, use it – and do everything we can to enjoy it.

The pavilion is a great venue for children’s parties as it is a safe area, well away from the main road and has the playing field and children’s play area nearby for children and families to enjoy. Please see below for booking contacts.

Swan Meadow is the base for the Village Cricket, Football & Tennis Clubs as well as the Burwash Bonfire Society, Burwash Horticultural Society and a number of other groups. It is also used by Burwash C.E.P. School for sports day, games and out of school clubs.
