HRH the Duke of Edinburgh

It is with deep regret that we have today learnt of the death of His Royal Highness, Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. On behalf of the local community, the members of Burwash Parish Council wish to offer their heartfelt condolences to her Majesty the Queen and to the other members of the Royal Family on their sad loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II at this deeply sad time.

Book of Condolence

Burwash Parish Council are opening the Parish Rooms to allow for the community to sign a book of condolence for HRH the Duke of Edinburgh. The schedule of opening is as follows:

Saturday 10th April: 2-3pm

Sunday 11th April: 3-4pm

Monday 12th April: 11am-12noon

Tuesday 13th April: 3-4pm

Wednesday 14th April: 11am-12noon

Thursday 15th April: 3-4pm

Friday 16th April: 11am-12noon

Saturday 17th April: 11am-12noon

Sunday 18th April: 11am-12noon

Strict covid guidelines are in place. We will operate a one in, one out system.

Please bring your own pen if possible.
If you cannot make any of these dates, please post your condolence message and leave it in the parish room post box and it will be included in the book.
